On August 18, according to the plan, the joint venture "GM - AvtoVAZ" passed on three-shift operation, the correspondent LADAONLINE in the enterprise. The increasing pace of building off-road "Chevrolet-Niva" added burden on the production staff of a new automobile plant in Togliatti. By mid-August at the JV produced an additional set of full-time employees to work on an assembly line. Working in a third, graveyard shift more responsible, and so it is now trusted by employees who already have experience building cars. And additionally recruited staff received special training and began work in the 1st and 2nd shift. By late August, the company intends to be close to the planned targets automotive assembly "Chevrolet-Niva" - 12 cars per hour. The plan this year is 35 000 SUV, "Chevrolet-Niva". Today the JV has already 25 dealers formally implement the car "Chevrolet-Niva" in 14 cities of Russia. There are plans to open several more. Among the expected - in the cities of Omsk and Ufa, as well as new dealers in Moscow. August 25 at the international "Autosalon-2003" in Moscow JV "GM - AvtoVAZ" will hold a press conference. At the same time, we probably know more details about the activities of the company, its current and future plans, and possibly new models that will be collected on joint ventures in the future.
