"Avtotor" will collect the five new models GM

Concern General Motors plans to increase the volume of car assembly in Russia in co-production with the company "Avtotor." According to the publication Automotive News Europe, in Kaliningrad in the near future will be deployed to release five new models of GM. In particular, Russia is planning to produce four models of Chevrolet DAT: Aveo, Lacetti. Tacuma and sedan Epica, as well as new SUV Hummer H3. The vehicles will be assembled from SKD kits shipped General Motors. At the expense of production in Russia, the value of these models, according to experts, can be reduced 10-15 percent. Recall that at the present time "Avtotor" already assembles SUVs Chevrolet TrailBlazer and Tahoe, Hummer H2, and Cadillac CTS sedans and STS. Meanwhile, General Motors has not give up the idea of ??building in Russia's own automobile full production cycle. According to preliminary reports, the representatives of the American company is currently negotiating with several regions, trying to find a place for your business.
