An economical version will grille elements, closing it at high speeds (this helps to improve aerodynamic performance) and automatically open to small (to optimize engine cooling air flow). Also Cruze Eco will be equipped with lowered suspension, tires with reduced rolling resistance, lightweight 17-inch wheels made of aluminum alloy and a manual gearbox with modified gear ratios. According to the company's Chevrolet, economical version of the sedan Cruze, equipped with the "mechanics" from zero to 96 miles per hour will drive in 10 seconds, with automatic transmission - the first nine seconds. According to some sources, the fuel consumption in the urban cycle in such a vehicle will be 5.88 liters per hundred kilometers. In Russia, sales of conventional Cruze began last summer, and fall to his production was maximized at the plant of GM in St. Petersburg.
