GM faces a review to 2.7 million SUVs

National Highway Traffic Safety Administration USA (NHTSA) opened an investigation into the facts of fires in the engine compartment off-road group General Motors. As the website of Consumer Affairs, testing will affect 21 models of different brands of GM, which were released in the U.S. car maker from 2006 to 2008. The result of this investigation may be a review to 2.7 million vehicles. Currently, registered 41 cases of fire, at what most of them happened when the car engine is turned off. According to the NHTSA, to determine the cause of fire experts will inspect the entire organization an electrician machines, wiring, engine, cooling system, all the relays and fuses, and wires to the battery terminals. Note that if NHTSA investigation will confirm that the fire in the engine compartments are connected with any technical malfunctions, then General Motors will recall all cars to free bug fixes.
