Vice President Ed Peper Chevrolet (Ed Peper) in the GM corporate blog has published the first official photos of the preproduction sample of the open version sports coupe Camaro. Recall that previously were available only to images of the same name of the concept car and spy shots. Informs American edition of Inside Line. However, Pepper noted that the design of commercial design may differ slightly from the pre-production sample. Currently open Camaro is still undergoing developmental testing. It is expected that the general public convertible will be presented at next year's motor show in Detroit. The novelty will receive a soft folding roof and will be offered with either six-liter 400-strong "eight", or with a 3.6-liter six-cylinder engine producing 270 horsepower. Motors will be paired with a six "mechanics" or semi-automatic gearbox. Dynamic characteristics Chevrolet Camaro without a roof is not currently known. Ed Peper also confirmed that the mass production Camaro will open in 2009. Earlier it was reported that the release of this car will establish an enterprise Chevrolet in Canada. The American company expects to sell about 100 thousand per year Camaro.
