From August 4 joint venture "GM-AvtoVAZ" has resumed its work after two weeks of vacation. So far, according to news agency "Ladaonline", the plant continues to operate in two shifts, but already on August 18, the company will put three-shift workday. Additional staff is now being trained, but the most difficult, night shift, will be entrusted to employees of the plant, which already have experience of working on the assembly line. Recall that before the end of the joint venture "GM-AvtoVAZ" intends to release 35 000 SUV Chevrolet-Niva. For this purpose, according to experts, the company needs to produce more than 5,000 cars per month starting from August. The head of the joint venture, John Mylonas, considers this pace of work is quite real, especially since the introduction of third-shift auto plant be able to produce up to 12 cars per hour.
