Joint venture "GM-AvtoVAZ" has completely stopped production of the most expensive modifications SUV Chevrolet Niva - GLX - with a 1.8-liter Opel. From the rest of the family SUV cars in this version, in addition to the 125-horsepower Opel, distinguished by the presence of a five-speed manual gearbox the Japanese company Aisin, two airbags, antilock braking system and air conditioner is proposed for other modifications only as an option.
