Company General Motors plans to soon increase its Mexican plant in Ramos Arizpe output six-cylinder petrol engines of HF. As reported by Automotive World, the number of engines produced will be increased by almost 60 percent to 940 thousand units per year. The company has U.S. automaker plans to begin manufacturing a new generation of motors family HF, which in comparison with the previous versions are developing a six percent more power. In the U.S. market these engines will be used for crossover Saturn Vue and Chevrolet Equinox, as well as midsize models group GM (eg, sedans Chevrolet Malibu). In addition, the plant will start as Ramos Arizpe assembly of new six-speed automatic transmission designed for front-wheel drive. Such transmissions, according to representatives of General Motors, allow comparison with other "machines" of the company to improve fuel efficiency vehicles by an average of seven percent.
