From 3 to 5 March was stopped assembling SUVs Chevrolet Niva, because of the increase in demand for the car, the contractors did not have time to deliver parts to the factory. Component manufacturers are not keeping pace with the growth capacity of the plant in Togliatti. Thus, occasionally have to stop the assembly. A similar incident occurred at the plant in February this year when due to lack of equipment the company had incurred losses, and products were produced on 5% less than planned. Because of delays in 2011, the company was unable to produce 1,3 thousand car "Niva". The plans at GM-AvtoVAZ to produce up to 52 thousand cars this year.
