"GM-AvtoVAZ" to expand the production of two models

Factory "GM-AvtoVAZ", producing off-road Chevrolet Niva, will begin production in the near future, the second model. It is reported "Avtostat" referring to the Director General Jeffrey Glover. What would it be for a machine on which platform it built and when it appears, is not specified. As noted by Glover, the basis for a new car is likely to borrow at "AvtoVAZ" or concern General Motors, but it will definitely be different from the platform Chevrolet Niva. "GM-AvtoVAZ" produces vehicles in 2002. The first model, which descended from the conveyor company, became Chevrolet Niva. In 2004 it was joined sedan Chevrolet Viva, built on the basis of second-generation Opel Astra and equipped with a 1.8 liter engine capacity of 125 horsepower. In early 2008, production of the car was stopped.
