This is stated in an official statement of the brand. Chevrolet Equinox crossover will be offered with both front-and four-wheel drive and gets two new petrol engines with direct fuel injection. The first of them - it's an economical 182-strong row "four" 2.4-liter, which is believed in the American company will choose the two-thirds of all buyers of this model. According to Chevrolet, the average fuel consumption per hundred kilometers the car with the motor is 11.2 liters in the urban cycle and 7.8 liters - at the track. The second new unit - a three-liter V6 rated at 255 horsepower. The company argued that the fully fueled tank Equinox with any of these engines will be able to travel without refueling around 800 kilometers. As options for new items will be available to DVD-system with two screens for rear passengers, an audio system with hard drive and the ability to connect external devices via USB, rear view camera and luggage with electric door. In the U.S., the new Chevrolet Equinox will be in dealer showrooms in mid-2009. Prices for the car has not been announced.
